Has there ever been a game in Major League Baseball where every run scored was from a homerun?

In the history of Major League Baseball, there have been only two games where every run scored was from a homerun. The first occurred on August 25, 1948, when the Boston Braves defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-5. The second occurred on September 28, 1950, when the New York Giants defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 5-3.

In both games, all of the home runs were solo shots. This means that no player drove in multiple runs with a single home run.

The rarity of these games highlights the difficulty of hitting a home run in Major League Baseball. Even the best hitters in the world only hit a home run a few times per season.
