How is Baseball Played
Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of nine players each. The game is played on a diamond-shaped field with four bases. The object of the game is to score more runs than the other team by hitting the ball and running around the bases.
The game begins with the pitcher throwing the ball to the batter. The batter tries to hit the ball with a bat. If the batter hits the ball, they run to first base. If the batter does not hit the ball, they are out.
If the batter hits the ball and gets on base, they can try to steal second base. If the batter steals second base, they can try to steal third base. If the batter steals third base, they can try to score a run by running home.
The game is played over nine innings. Each inning, the teams take turns batting and fielding. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins.
