Kevin Anderson, a South African professional tennis player, is a native English speaker. However, he can also speak Afrikaans, which is one of the official languages of South Africa. Anderson was born in Johannesburg to an English-speaking father and an Afrikaans-speaking mother. He grew up speaking both languages at home and attended an English-language school.
