Who is Sorana Cirstea?

Sorana Cirstea is a professional tennis player from Romania. Born on April 7, 1990, in Bucharest, she began playing tennis at the age of four. Cirstea turned professional in 2006, and has since achieved considerable success on the WTA Tour.

Throughout her career, Cirstea has won two WTA singles titles and two WTA doubles titles. Her best Grand Slam result in singles is reaching the quarterfinals of the French Open in 2009. In doubles, she reached the semifinals of the Australian Open in 2021.
