The Super Rod is a powerful fishing rod that can catch rare and powerful Pokémon in Fire Red Leaf Green. It can be obtained from several different places throughout the game.

1. Route 119: After defeating Giovanni in the Silph Co. building, return to Route 119 and talk to the Fisherman standing on the dock. He will give you the Old Rod. Take the Old Rod to the house on the west side of Cerulean City and talk to the man inside. He will upgrade it to the Super Rod.
