Chris Callicoat is an English professional badminton coach and former Olympic badminton player. After reaching the finals of the English National Badminton Championships U15 and U17 singles, he went on to represent England at the 2008 Summer Olympics, competing in the men's doubles with Robert Blair. After finishing his competitive playing career in 2013, he began coaching at the University of Nottingham, and later became the national coach of Scotland in 2017.

Callicoat's coaching philosophy is based on the idea that every player is unique and should be coached according to their individual needs. He believes in creating a positive and supportive environment for his players, and encourages them to take ownership of their own development. He is also a strong advocate for fair play and respect for opponents.
