Why are there no Apollo 2 3 4 5 and 6?

The Apollo program was a series of human spaceflight missions conducted by the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. The program was named after the Greek god Apollo, and its goal was to land humans on the Moon. The first Apollo mission, Apollo 1, was a disaster, and the three astronauts on board were killed in a fire during a launch rehearsal. The next mission, Apollo 7, was a success, and it was followed by Apollo 8, which was the first manned mission to orbit the Moon. Apollo 10 was a dress rehearsal for the Moon landing, and Apollo 11 was the mission that finally landed humans on the Moon.

After Apollo 11, there were plans for additional Apollo missions, but these were eventually canceled. There were a number of reasons for this, including the high cost of the Apollo program, the changing political climate, and the development of new technologies.
