When Does Wolverine Get His Adamantium Skeleton Ripped Out?

In the comic book series "Marvel Comics Presents" #72-73 (1991), Wolverine is captured by the villain Omega Red. Omega Red uses his Carbonadium tendrils to sever Wolverine's adamantium skeleton from his body. The metal claws on Wolverine's hands are the only parts of his skeleton that remain intact.

After his skeleton is removed, Wolverine's healing factor goes into overdrive to repair his body. He is able to survive the procedure, but he is left with a severe case of adamantium poisoning. The poisoning causes Wolverine to experience hallucinations, seizures, and other debilitating effects.

Eventually, Wolverine is able to overcome the adamantium poisoning and regenerate his skeleton. However, he is never able to fully recover from the experience. The loss of his adamantium skeleton has a profound impact on Wolverine's life and personality.
