Why is Blastoise not a dual type? All other Kanto starters got a dual type but why not Blastoise?
Blastoise is the final evolutionary form of Squirtle, one of the three starter Pokémon in the Kanto region. Unlike Venusaur and Charizard, however, Blastoise does not gain a dual type upon evolving. There is no official explanation for this, but there are a few possible reasons.
