HM Rock Climb is a crucial Hidden Machine (HM) in Pokémon Diamond Version that allows you to scale cliffs and obstacles. Acquiring it is essential for progressing through the game.
Step 1: Visit Oreburgh City
Travel to Oreburgh City located in the northeast of Route 203.
Step 2: Enter the Gym and Battle Roark
Enter the Oreburgh City Gym and defeat the Gym Leader, Roark. This will earn you the Coal Badge.
Step 3: Exit the Gym and Head to the Northwest
Exit the Gym and go northwest towards Oreburgh Gate.
Step 4: Find the Man in the House
Enter the house on the left side of Oreburgh Gate. Inside, you will find a man standing by a television.
Step 5: Receive TM Rock Climb
Talk to the man and he will give you TM Rock Climb.
Important Note: To use HM Rock Climb, you must teach it to a Pokémon in your party that can learn it, such as Cranidos, Onix, or Geodude.
