What is your scariest climbing accident?
I've had a few close calls climbing, but the scariest was definitely when I fell off a cliff in Thailand. I was climbing with a friend, and we were about halfway up a limestone cliff when I lost my grip and fell. I fell about 20 feet, and landed on a ledge. I was lucky to not have hit my head or broken any bones, but I was badly shaken up.
I was able to climb back up to my friend, and we finished the climb. But I've never forgotten that fall, and it's made me more cautious when I climb. I always make sure to check my equipment carefully, and I never climb alone.
