Where will the Olympics take place in 2021?

The 2021 Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from July 23 to August 8, 2021. The event was originally scheduled to take place in the summer of 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Tokyo Olympics will feature 339 events in 33 sports, with the addition of five new sports: baseball/softball, karate, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing. The Games will also see the return of mixed-gender events in swimming, athletics, judo, and triathlon.

The Tokyo Olympics will be the second time that the Games have been held in Japan, after the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo. The city is expected to welcome over 11,000 athletes and officials from around the world.
