Why does Mexico not participate in the Olympics?
Mexico has never participated in the Olympics due to its unique relationship with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The IOC ruled that Mexican athletes were not eligible to compete in the 1928 Olympics because they had not been officially recognized by the Mexican government.
