Which Religion Is the Fastest Growing Faith in the USA and Which One Is in Heavy Decline?

According to the Pew Research Center's 2014 Religious Landscape Study, the world's largest Christian denomination, Roman Catholicism, is in heavy decline in the USA, while the unaffiliated population, which includes atheists, agnostics, and those who do not identify with any specific religion, is growing rapidly. The study found that between 2007 and 2014, the percentage of Americans who identify as Catholic dropped from 24% to 20%, while the unaffiliated population grew from 16% to 23%.

The study also found that the number of Americans who identify as Protestant has also declined in recent years, from 51% in 2007 to 43% in 2014. However, the decline in Protestantism has been less than the decline in Catholicism.
