What are the rules in Squash sport

Squash is a racket sport played between two players in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. The players take turns hitting the ball with their rackets, attempting to hit it in such a way that the opponent is unable to return it. The game is won by the player who scores the most points.

Basic rules

• The court is 9.75 meters long, 6.4 meters wide and 5.64 meters high.
• The ball is 40-47.5 millimeters in diameter and weighs 24-26 grams.
• Players must hit the ball before it bounces twice on their side of the court.
• Players can hit the ball off the side walls, but not the back wall.
• If the ball hits the back wall, the player who hit it loses the point.

Scoring

• The server must hit the ball into the service court on the opposite side of the court.

Other rules

• Players cannot touch the ball with their hands.
• Players cannot obstruct their opponent's view of the ball.
