How do I bypass the power steering pulley on a 06 Buick Lucerne

Difficulty: Easy Time: 1 hour Tools: * 15mm socket wrench * 18mm socket wrench * 3/8-inch drive ratchet * 3/8-inch drive extension * Bypass pulley kit

Instructions:

Park the Lucerne on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
Open the hood and locate the power steering pulley. It is located on the front of the engine, near the top.
Use the 15mm socket wrench to loosen the bolt that holds the pulley in place. Do not remove the bolt completely.
Use the 18mm socket wrench to remove the nut that holds the pulley to the pump.
Pull the pulley straight off the pump.
Install the bypass pulley kit. The kit will come with instructions on how to do this.
Tighten the nut and bolt that hold the bypass pulley in place.
Start the Lucerne and check for leaks.
