What is the Size and Dimensions of a Pickleball Court?
A pickleball court is a rectangular area that is 20 feet wide and 44 feet long. The court is divided in half by a net that is 3 feet high at the sidelines and 3 feet 6 inches high in the middle. The net is attached to two posts that are 6 feet apart.
The non-volley zone, also known as "the kitchen," is a 7-foot area in front of the net on each side of the court. Players are not allowed to volley the ball within this area.
The baseline is the line at the back of the court. Players must serve from behind the baseline and the ball must land in the opponent's service court.
The service court is the area behind the baseline on each side of the net. The ball must land in the service court to be a legal serve.
The sideline is the line that runs along the sides of the court. The ball must land inbounds to be legal.
