Eddie Hall is an English former strongman competitor and world record holder in powerlifting. On July 26, 2016, Hall set the world record for the heaviest bench press, lifting 500.5 kilograms (1,103.4 pounds) at the World Deadlift Championships in Leeds, England.

This record-breaking lift was widely considered one of the greatest feats of strength in human history. Hall's bench press record has since been broken by Julius Maddox, who lifted 502.5 kilograms (1,107.8 pounds) in May 2022.
