Which Lines in the Badminton Court Do We Consider for Singles?
In singles badminton, the playing area is rectangular with lines marking its boundaries. These lines are used to determine the validity of shots and the placement of players.
Longitudinal Lines:
- Inner Sideline: The innermost line running parallel to the net, forming the side boundaries of the court.
- Outer Sideline: The outermost line running parallel to the net, forming the side boundaries of the court, except for the service courts.
