How did Kurt Warner go from being undrafted to winning a Super Bowl
Kurt Warner's journey to winning a Super Bowl is one of the most inspiring stories in sports history. He went from being undrafted out of college to becoming one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
Warner's career began in the Arena Football League (AFL), where he played for the Iowa Barnstormers. In 1999, he signed with the St. Louis Rams as a backup quarterback. When Rams starter Trent Green was injured early in the season, Warner took over and led the Rams to a Super Bowl victory.
Warner continued to play at a high level for the Rams, leading them to another Super Bowl appearance in 2001. After the 2003 season, he was traded to the New York Giants, where he played for two seasons. In 2007, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals, where he led them to another Super Bowl appearance in 2008.
Warner retired from the NFL after the 2009 season. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
