OJ Simpson's First Job

Orenthal James Simpson's first job was as a paperboy for the San Francisco Examiner newspaper. He started delivering papers at the age of 12 and continued for four years, earning $2.50 per week. Simpson later recalled that this job taught him the importance of hard work and responsibility.

After graduating from high school, Simpson attended the University of Southern California on a football scholarship. He played running back for the Trojans and helped them win the national championship in 1967. Simpson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 1969 NFL Draft. He played 11 seasons in the NFL, rushing for 11,236 yards and scoring 61 touchdowns.

In addition to his football career, Simpson also worked as a broadcaster, actor, and businessman. He was an analyst for NBC Sports from 1983 to 1989 and hosted the show "Juiced" on Fox from 2004 to 2006. Simpson also appeared in several movies and television shows, including "The Towering Inferno" (1974) and "The Naked Gun" (1988).
