What State Does Not Have a Football Team in the NFL
The National Football League (NFL) is the premier professional American football league in the United States, consisting of 32 teams. These teams are spread across 28 states, with two teams in California, New Jersey, and Texas.
However, there are four states that do not have an NFL team:
- Alaska
- Delaware
- Hawaii
- Montana
These states are all located in the western United States and have relatively small populations. As a result, they have not been able to support an NFL franchise.
Despite not having an NFL team, these states still have a strong following for football. Many fans in these states root for teams in neighboring states or teams that are popular nationally.
