Haden's NFL career began with the Los Angeles Rams in 1976. He quickly became one of the top quarterbacks in the league, leading the Rams to two NFC Championship games and earning three Pro Bowl selections. In 1980, he was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player. However, his career was cut short by a shoulder injury in 1982.
Despite his playing career being cut short, Haden remained active in the NFL as an executive. He served as the president of the Los Angeles Rams from 1995 to 2009 and was the commissioner of the Pac-12 Conference from 2012 to 2016. He is currently a sports commentator for Fox Sports.
