Who Was the Worst Hockey Player Ever?

The debate over who is the worst hockey player ever is a subjective one, as there are many contenders for the title. However, one player who consistently ranks among the worst is Bob Froese.

Froese played 10 games in the NHL for the Los Angeles Kings in the 1982-83 season. During that time, he recorded zero points and a minus-10 rating. He also had 22 penalty minutes, which is more than twice as many as he had shots on goal.

Froese's lack of skill was evident from the start of his NHL career. In his first game, he was on the ice for four goals against and was benched for the rest of the game. He went on to play in nine more games that season, but his performance never improved.

After his brief NHL stint, Froese played in the minor leagues for several more years. However, he never managed to find much success at that level either. He retired from hockey in 1992 with a career total of zero points in 61 NHL games.
